Edukację muzyczną rozpoczął grą na skrzypcach w wieku siedmiu lat w Państwowej Szkole Muzycznej w Poznaniu, którą ukończył w 1968r. Od 1974r. studiował w Akademii Muzycznej w Poznaniu w klasie Henryka Łukaszka. W 1980r.uzyskał dyplom z wyróżnieniem oraz nagrodę Ministra Kultury i Sztuki.Swój kunszt doskonalił na kursach wokalnych w kraju i zagranicą.m.in.u Adele Stolte w Niemczech. W latach 1978 – 1980 jeszcze w czasie studiów rozpoczął pracę w Teatrze Wielkim im. S. Moniuszki w Poznaniu, a od roku 1980 do dzisiaj jest solistą Opery Śląskiej w Bytomiu. Współpracował również z Teatrem Wielkim w Łodzi, Warszawie oraz Operą Krakowską. W latach tych brał udział w kilkudziesięciu premierach wykonując czołowe partie basowe. Równolegle ze sztuką sceniczną uprawiał szeroką działalność koncertową i kameralną biorąc udział w ponad 300 koncertach filharmonicznych i festiwalach w kraju i zagranicą. Występował w USA, Kanadzie oraz niemal we wszystkich krajach Europy, m.in.w salach Filharmonii w Berlinie i Monachium. Dokonał też nagrań archiwalnych dla Polskiego Radia w Poznaniu
i Katowicach, a także nagrań archiwalnych z WOSPRiTV. Nagranie płytowe opery „Nabucco” G. Verdiego zdobyło tytuł Platynowej Płyty. Jest laureatem
I-go Ogólnopolskiego Konkursu Wokalistyki Operowej im. A. Didura w Bytomiu. Dostał też Srebrną Odznakę „Zasłużonemu w Rozwoju Województwa Katowickiego” oraz Brązowy i Srebrny Krzyż Zasługi. Od 1990r. prowadzi klasę śpiewu solowego na Wydziale Wokalno –Aktorskim w Akademii Muzycznej im. K. Szymanowskiego w Katowicach pracując na stanowisku adiunkta. W 2003r. uzyskał tytuł doktora. W repertuarze posiada ponad 40 partii operowych i niemal tyle samo oratoryjno – kantatowych.
W okresie od 1978 do 2005 zaśpiewał ponad 1600 przedstawień operowych biorąc udział w ponad 40 premierach oraz 300 koncertów oratoryjnych i kameralnych.

Tadeusz Leśniczak started his musical education at the age of seven when he began playing the violin at the State School of Music in Poznań, from which he graduated in 1968. In 1974 he started studying at the Academy of Music in Poznań in the class of Henryk Łukaszek. In 1980 Mr. Leśniczak got a diploma with honours and an award of the Minister of Culture and Art. He developed his skills during vocal courses both in Poland and abroad, e.g. under the tutelage of Adele Stolte in Germany. In the years 1978 – 1980, while still a student, he began working at the Stanisław Moniuszko Grand Theatre in Poznań. Since 1980 he has been working at the Silesian Opera in Bytom as a soloist.
Mr. Leśniczak also cooperated with the Grand Theatre in Łódź and Warsaw, and with the Kraków Opera. During that time he took part in several dozen premières, performing leading bass parts. Parallel to the stagecraft, he conducted wide-ranging concert and chamber activities, taking part in over 300 philharmonic concerts and festivals both in Poland and abroad. He performed in the USA, Canada and in almost all the European countries, e.g. in the philharmonic halls in Berlin and Munich. Moreover, Mr. Leśniczak made some archive recordings for the Polish Radio in Poznań and Katowice and some with the Grand Symphony Orchestra of the Polish Radio and Television. The CD recording of the „Nabucco” opera by G. Verdi was awarded the title of Platinum Disc Record.
Mr. Leśniczak is the winner of the 1st Adam Didur All-Poland Contest of Operatic Vocalism in Bytom. He also got the Silver Badge “Distinguished in Developing the Province of Katowice” as well as the Bronze and Silver Crosses of Merit. Since 1990 he has been working as an adjunct and teaching a class of solo singing at the Vocal and Drama Institute of The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. In 2003 he was awarded the PhD degree. His repertoire includes over 40 operatic parts and almost as many oratorian-cantata parts.
In the years 1978 – 2005 Mr. Leśniczak sang over 1600 opera performances, taking part in over 40 premières, and 300 oratorian and chamber concerts.
